There’s a Pokéstop at Marina del Rey’s Cheesecake Factory at the beach.

As Pokemon Go is different than just about every other game out there – you actually have to venture outside in order to discover the gyms, pokéstops and wild pokémons – limo or party bus excursions might be amongst the coolest Pokemon Go birthday ideas. Playing the game while driving can be dangerous and also very irritating, primarily of two reasons: 1) Pokémons and Pokéstops will appear when driving, but is nearly impossible to catch or visit while in movement, and 2) It’s obviously dangerous to try to catch that Caterpie when you’re driving down the 405, no matter how much you eventually want a Butterfree. But by being chauffeured around by limo services, you eliminate the many dangers linked to the game, and you can stop by all the gyms and Pokéstops you want on your way. The final destination may be a stop such as a beach or a restaurant often visited by Pokémons or situated near a Pokéstop or Pokégym. As an example, we recently took clients to the Cheesecake Factory on the beach in Marina del Rey. Not just because of their unbeatable views of the Pacific and their great food and location on the beach, but because this very restaurant also is a Pokéstop where players can recharge on Pokéballs and may get rare eggs evolving into various rare Pokémons. The more rare Pokémons are found at night, while sea Pokémons are found near ocean. The Cheesecake Factory on the beach here is therefore a also a great pick for those looking to catch a water monster. Our limo services group discovered everything from Magikarps, Poliwags, and even a Wartortle.

Water Pokémons are found near bodies of water, such as at the great Malibu beaches.

The hunt for the animated Japanese toon monsters all began when Nintendo released the first Gameboy games in 1996. A few years later, the role video game became an animated TV series that is still broadcast on television today. Ever since, gamers have followed in the footsteps of Ash Ketchum, the charming Pikachu and countless other Pokémonsters. Similarly to the original Gameboy success, Pokemon Go will also let you pick between a preferred starting monster: grass-, water-, or fire (Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander). After picking your beginning Pokemon, venture out in the real world to catch Pokémons. By Pokéstops, you can come by for free Pokéballs, potion, razz berries, incense, eggs and more. While you can utilize an egg incubator for your egg to eventually become a Pokémon, potion can be used to heal wounded Pokémons. Razz berry can be used to weaken Pokémons you’re figthing, while incense will attract Pokémons to your location for 30 minutes. Kids’ birthday parties can be fun when adding limo services to drop by various Pokéstops and gyms for battling!  Several Malibu wine tour customers loved their recent visit to the Malibu Café in the Malibu Canyons, where they could enjoy refilling Pokéballs at the Pokéstop and go hunt for new creatures by the creek. Follow up by a visit to Malibu Family Wines for a real life safari with real animals such as zebras, bisons, camels, alpacas, and other animals. For a Pokemon Go tour and Malibu wine tour closer to the Pacific, check out the Rosenthal Tasting Room by the ocean!

LAX is full of Pokéstops!

A popular thing lately are celebrating Pokemon birthdays for kids in a rented limo or Los Angeles party bus. Trending Pokemon Go birthday ideas include trips to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) where there’s not only a Pokéstop, but a Pokégym where players can train their Pokémons and battle for control of the gym. When players have reached level 5 they will get the chance of joining a team (and also being able to attend battles). Players will get the option of picking between team blue, team red, and team yellow. While gyms allow you to battle for control of the gym, you can also put in your own Pokémon or train against fellow team members if the gym already is in your team’s control. Either by fighting other teams or training against your own team, your experience and XP will increase during every battle. After having had control of a gym for over 24 hours, click on the Shop menu for rewards. While you may spend your own money – roughly $1 for 100 pokécoins – visiting Pokéstops allow you to pick up all the equipment you need for free. Places such as LAX are packed with various Pokéstops, but when driving it can prove to be a challenge to catch all the airport Pokéstops and Pokémons. Renting an LAX sedan service may save you time and money – we know where the Pokéstops are, which makes an airport trip a rewarding Pokémon experience. You can also ask your LAX sedan service to drive slowly and repeat a few round near the gates. Many looking for limos for rent in the Los Angeles area have told us about how effective the lure modules are at the Pokéstops for attracting nearby creatures. To use a lure module, simply tell your limo services chauffeur to swing by a Pokéstop for a 30-minute period in order to catch as many as possible. The lure module accompanied with incense will double your chances of finding Pokémons, while nearby players only benefit from the lure module.

limos-for-rent-in-los-angeles-california-on-the-hollywood-walk-of-fame-playing-pokemon-go-limo-tours-la-2016Barnsdall Art Park is another tremendously popular Pokemon Go destination for Los Angeles party bus and limousine rentals which has both a gym and tons of Pokéstops. The Hollyhock House here is a Pokéstop. Art has never been more fun! Renting a Los Angeles party bus to cruise down Hollywood Boulevard and the Sunset Strip has equally never been more fun. Here you can enjoy one of the city’s most iconic destinations while stopping by gyms and Pokéstops to recharge on Pokéballs and other necessities. Limousine rentals heading for the Santa Monica Pier might just get you that Parasect you’ve been looking for, while the Grove is a great place to go for a stroll amongst a highly concentrated place of Pokemon Go trainers. So is the Union Station with its many historic spots to refill on Pokéballs. Whether to search for a Pidgey at the airport with an LAX sedan service or to find the rarest species at nighttime with a Los Angeles party bus – limos for rent may be the best and most rewarding way of playing Pokémon. Combining a kid’s birthday party with some Pokémon hunting may be the best birthday ever! Especially when combined with a luxurious ride by limo services!

walk-of-fame-los-angeles-limousine-serviceHollywood might be home to the more L.A. landmarks, attractions and activities than any other community. Here you can get a photo of the world-famous Hollywood Sign on Mount Lee or visit the world’s most famous sidewalk at Hollywood Walk of Fame. The street is stretching along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, and has over 2300 stars dedicated to famous stars in the entertainment industry. Also on the Hollywood Boulevard is the Hollywood Wax Museum, where you can see realistic copies of people such as Marilyn Monroe, Freddy Kreuger, Michael Jackson and many more. Along Sunset Boulevard are some of the city’s most famous places. For example the Hyatt West Hollywood Hotel, where Led Zeppelin drove down the staircase, or Whiskey a Go Go where people such as the Doors, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin have entertained. Johnny Depp’s nightclub, the Viper, is also located here and is the place where actress River Phoenix died. Motorhead’s Lemmy loves hanging out at the Rainbow Bar & Grill. Another place you must go when visiting Southern California is the Universal Studios Hollywood, where so many Los Angeles limousine clients head to. Here are rides based on popular movies such as Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Terminator 2, Spider Man, and more. Go on the behind-the-scenes tour and see the film sets for productions such as Jaws, Desperate Housewives and American Psycho. For the best entertainment, many order a LA limo to make the most out of their visit to concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, Dolby Theatre, Pantages Theatre, or other great entertainment venues.

Best Dining & Shopping

Hollywood-Bowl-LA-limoCome enjoy some of SoCal’s most famous – and tastiest – restaurants! Those that happen to like hot dogs will love the nearly twenty different hot dogs served at Pink’s Hot Dogs, and many times people will have the party stop to stop by Roscoes House of Chicken ’n W Waffles for a late-night meal. You may have your best chance of sighting a celebrity at the Musso & Frank Grill, a favorite amongst celebrity LA limo clients for decades. There are several great places for wine-tasting, for instance at the V Wine Room in West Hollywood or Vinoteque On Melrose. the-2016-limousine-los-angeles-limo-service-hollywood-party-busThe most happening place for tourists to stay is understandably in the Hollywood area, more precisely on or nearby Sunset Strip. We get daily calls for LAX sedan service from the airport to the many hotels and resorts of Hollywood. Also within walking distance of most of the fun is the Roosevelt Hotel, a 1929 U.S. national landmark. For a less expensive hotel, the Best Western Plus Hollywood Hills Hotel is a good choice. 4 Reasons To Love Venice!

4 Reasons To Love Venice!

No place is more quintessential LA than Venice. Named for its many canals, originally called the Venice of America, Venice is a beloved and different part of the city. For tourists and local angelenos, ordering a Los Angeles limousine for an outing in Venice is popular. Being a generally walkable area, exploring Venice Beach, the Boardwalk, canals, pier and great art venues can all easily be done in one day. While many hop on the bike to head up towards Santa Monica, Venice offers something different than any other place in California, perhaps in America. Where else would you come solely for people-watching and seeing more colorful characters than in boring everyday life? Furthermore, Venice Beach may be the most visited people-watching destination in the world. Let’s look further and why you should rent an LA limo service head on out to Venice!

You can come here to enjoy a nice drink at the Boardwalk while watching some of the most interesting people you’ll ever meet. And we mean ever. The Venice Boardwalk is always lively and just some you may encounter includes jugglers, panhandlers, preachers, medical marihuana doctors, skater dudes, hippie types, and everything in between. Maybe the most famous place at Venice Beach is Muscle Beach, famous for the “discovery” of Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger. This place is even a popular destination for LAX sedan rentals, due to the many tourists wanting to experience this signature LA landmark. Venice has been the location for dozens of film productions and has been featured in movies and TV-shows as Pacific Blue, Gilmore Girls, Baywatch, American History X, the Nightmare on Elm Street, Grease, Dracula vs. Frankenstein, Dante’s Inferno, and many more. People order an LA limo service to Venice Beach for a great day beaching, people-watching, checking out the various souvenir shops, bike-renting, and dining.

As the LA limo service of ours have offered transportation here for over 20 years now, you can trust us for a top notch Venice outing. Looking for an outing somewhere else? We also offer the best rated Malibu wine tour, as well as LAX rides and transportation throughout the Greater LA Area and Southern California. Let our Los Angeles limousine services represent five things you’ll love about Venice!

Canals

An LA limo by the Venice CanalsOnce home to as many as sixteen miles of canals, Venice now has three remaining miles of canals. These are now protected as part of the Venice Canal Historic District, which is an LA Historic-Cultural Monument and also listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. You can rent an LA limo service to go exploring the canals. Or you could take a stroll here for a more charming and quieter Venice experience than the Boardwalk. The Venice Canals Walkway has over two miles of pedestrian-friendly trails along the idyllic canals. Developed by real estate developer Abbot Kinney in 1904, most of the former canals were filled to make space for freeways. The remaining waterways are beautiful and lead through an affluent housing area with houses backing up to the canals. The walkway is located between Venice- and Washington Boulevards. LA limo renters come here for various reasons; some fall in love with the narrow walkways and tiny bridges, while others come to admire the architecture of the houses. We have also transferred customers often to the canals for row-boating, kayaking and picnicking. While the Grand Canal is the largest and maybe most famous, the others include the Carroll-, Linnie-, Eastern-, Howland- and Sherman Canals. Getting their picture taken by the canals is common for tourists riding with an LAX sedan from the LAX airport to Venice. We also often transfer locals here by limo and sedan vehicles.

Nightlife

Venice is home to an array of bars and a lively nightlife. Whether you are going on a date with your partner, or need an LA limo service for a friends’ outing on town, we can help with your Los Angeles limousine to Venice. One of the favorite bars for LA limo services are Nikki’s, where you might just find the cheapest beer in town for only three dollars each. This is a trending destination for LA beer crawls, while many also decide on a Malibu wine tour for wine-tastings by the Pacific. The Brig is a great choice on Abbot Kinney Boulevard, while the Venice Whaler is known for its lively nightlife. For some great dining overlooking the beach, ocean and even views as far as the California Channel Islands, head to the High Rooftop Lounge, located at Hotel Erwin.

For a huge variety in beers and cool nightclub, head to the German Wurstkuche on Lincoln Boulevard. Instead of a Malibu wine tour, do some wine-tasting in Venice! Both the Otheroom and Venice Beach Wine are great picks for wine-tasting tours. Our favorite Venice bars must be the Venice Ale House, particularly famous for their more than thirty varietals of craft beers, and Hinano Cafe, located right by the Venice Pier with breakfasts for as low as five dollars per meal. Instead of a wine tour, you could always bring friends along for a limo beer crawl at the Ale House! While Hollywood might be the most popular night destination for party buses and Los Angeles limousine services, Venice has recently become a more and more popular place for a night on town. Looking for a different kind of outing? Book a Malibu wine tour to Malibu Wines for live entertainment during weekends!

Lodging

buses-Los-Angeles-party-bus-rentalsWe often get people calling for an LAX limousine or LA limo service wanting to go to Venice, but still haven’t picked a hotel to stay at. For accommodation in Venice you have a wide range of choices. May Los Angeles limousine renters prefer staying at the Venice Boardwalk. Check out Hotel Erwin, previously Best Western, for a great hotel on the beach. This is also a trending LAX sedan destination as many tourists prefer staying at a beach hotel when visiting Los Angeles. The rooftop bar at the hotel, named the High, has one of Venice’ best views and food. For breakfast, check out the Hash Restaurant for some great breakfast. This hipster hotel opened in 2009 and is just a couple hundred feet from the Pacific. Spacious rooms and beach-theme. Another choice for accommodation is the Venice Beach House, a 1911 bungalow listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Just one block from the Venice Boardwalk and Beach, the two-story hotel is located on one of the most iconic Venice sidewalk streets.

For an option a tiny bit further from the Venice Boardwalk craziness, the Inn at Venice Beach is located three blocks from the ocean, which is just far enough for a quiet getaway. LA limo riders will enjoy that the hotel is right on the border between Venice and Marina del Rey, with great walking options to both locations. The hotels of Venice are popular for international- and domestic tourists, and many order LAX sedan services from LAX to the hotels here for a signature LA experience. As recently has yesterday we transferred hotel guests with LAX sedan from the Inn at Venice Beach for a Malibu wine tour to the Malibu Canyons.

Dining

limousines-at-LAX-limousine-service-airportAngelenos and others booking our limousines or Los Angeles party bus vehicles often visit the great eateries of Venice. Some favorites for the LA limo service are the Sidewalk Café with tables in the sand at Venice Beach, and Jody Maroni’s Sausage Kingdom, which offers more than twenty sausage sandwiches and is known for having the region’s best hot dogs. And we get it, why head on a Malibu wine tour when you can enjoy a cocktail in the sand at the Sidewalk Café! Wanna dine in a century old beach house? Check out Joe’s Restaurant for some great French- and Californian dishes. Los Angeles limousine services even get called for LAX sedan rides straight to this old beach house from LAX. Gjelina is yet another great restaurant, particularly known for its lovely outdoor patio. For some great drinks and Mediterranean food to match the climate, head to the Tasting Kitchen on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The hip bar at the Rose Cafe-Restaurant is another great pick for drinks and food.

Looking for some Italian cuisine? Head to C&O Cucina. For Indian, check our the Hurry Curry Indian Food, or for Thai food, check out the Ekkamai Thai Restaurant on W. Washington Boulevard. Looking for vegan dishes? Head to Cafe Gratitude Venice for great vegetarian- and vegan dishes. Other great Venice eateries include 26 Beach, Fresh In The Box, El Charro, Via Veneto, 72 Market Street Oyster Bar and Grill, and Baby Blues BBQ. Although several eateries here offer great wine-tastings, you can always book a Malibu wine tour for an outing in the vineyards. For whatever dining experience though, styling it up with an LA limo service or sedan will make it a dinner to remember! For an even more exciting outing, contact us for a Malibu wine tour which includes dinner! A popular Malibu wine tour winery-visit is Cornell Winery, located next-door to the Old Place Restaurant.

Arts

winetasting-on-Malibu-wine-tours
LA Louver

For those interested in art, Venice is a mecca. Even people booking with LAX sedan and limousine services from the LAX have headed to the LA Louver to check out the gorgeous galleries. Wanna see a totally different building? Take a few photos of the unique Binoculars Building on Main Street. For one of the top literary arts center in the region, Los Angeles limousine travelers head to the Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center on Venice Boulevard. The two-story Louver offers galleries from some of California’s and the country’s greatest artists, and occasional exhibits by international artists. Being the city’s primary artery, Windward Ave. stretches from Venice Beach towards the inland. Having guested celebrities such as Charlie Chaplin and various others, the bungalow Venice Beach House dates back to 1911. Long before the start of our LA limo service twenty years ago. It has been listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places since 1986, and it is definitely worth exploring (or staying at) for those interested in great architecture and history. Malibu wine tour explorers and other limousine renters will love the mural depicting how Venice once looked like inside the old historic Venice Post Office, surrounded by numerous galleries and art-venues at Windward Ave. Experiencing great arts here might be most popular for tourists using LAX sedan services, but locally grown Angelenos love it as well. Get a Los Angeles limousine to experience the Venice art today!

Movies Filmed in Venice

a-Los-Angeles-limo-service.pngWith its beautiful beach, canals and short way to Hollywood, hundreds of movies have been filmed in Venice. Los Angeles limousine passengers recently made us aware of the many films made here. Did you for example know that the Venice Canals can be seen in American Pie (1999)? Many of the Venice film locations can be visited on cinematic tours with LA limo service. Dude’s crib in The Big Lebowski (1998) is found here, and a stolen bike scene in Nightcrawler (2014) takes place at Venice Beach. Venice High School can be seen in American History X (1998), Shiherli’s apartment in Heat (1995) can also be visited on cinematic limo tours of Venice. An LAX sedan client made us recently aware that Venice High School can be seen in Grease (1978), and that the church in Million Dollar Baby (2004) actually is Saint Mark Catholic Church here in Venice. We have also transferred people with Los Angeles limousine vehicles to the famous fishing pier. This pier can be seen in Point Break (1991), while The Brigg Pub in Chef (2014) is also in Venice.

Glen Lantz (Johnny Depp) visits the canals in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), while the run-in with Gamble in SWAT (2003) takes place at Hinano Café. The foster family in I Am Sam (2001) lives in Venice, while Cobra’s (Sylvester Stallone) apartment in Cobra (1986) is actually located on Westminster Ave. Ordell Robbie’s flat in Jackie Brown (1997) is located at the beach here, while Dave gets introduced to Tom-Tom at the beach in the film Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986). The fictional Pinky’s Pizza in Prayer of the Rollerboys (1990) can be seen on Westminster Ave., as well as the Life Savers-facilities in the comedy film Mixed Nuts (1994). Order your Los Angeles limousine to your favorite film locales today! While most people order a limo for cinematic tours of Los Angeles, you can also reserve an SUV, sedan or party bus. A variety of movies have also been filmed at Cornell Winery and Malibu Wines, two popular stops for a Malibu wine tour.

Maybe the most popular free activities are visits to the Getty Center and the Getty Villa. While the Getty Center focuses on European painting, the Getty Villa has a Roman and Greek theme and art collection. Both are free of charge and incredibly popular for Los Angeles limo riders. With collections from some of the world’s most famous photographers, the Annenberg Space for Photography is yet another complimentary museum. A visit to Hollywood is never complete without a (free) visit to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, dating back to 1899 and the includes the graves of many Hollywood celebrities. Just in the city on a layover at LAX? Many reserving a LAX sedan service like to stop by the iconic Encounter at the Theme Building to take photos of the space-themed restaurant at the airport.

Want to experience something different? While many types of tours are available in the area, very few are completely complimentary. But the Los Angeles Audubon Society offers free hiking tours for bird observing to natural beauties in the region, including forests, ocean marshes, deserts, and lakes. Recently combined with a Malibu wine tour, foreign clients heading to the Walt Disney Concert Hall were surprised that the docent-led tours of maybe the most signature L.A. building were free of charge. Maybe the coolest trip you can do is taking a stroll down the sea-side boardwalks of Venice- and Santa Monica Beaches. In Venice you can sit back in the sun and observe the colorful characters: the jugglers, hipsters, hippie types, and more. Take a walk up the beach, check out the famous Muscle Beach and the Santa Monica Pier! Looking for a beach to spend the day swimming, surfing, or sunbathing? Check out the idyllic Newport- or Huntington Beaches. Or for maybe the most picturesque beach in Southern California, head down to Orange County’s 1,000 Steps Beach!

Malibu-party-bus-and-SUV-rentThere are many places in the SoCal region worth checking out by foot. Don’t forget to see the famous Sunset Strip! Or if you are in the mood for a drive or LA limousine rental, although not free of charge, head up to Santa Barbara’s main street: State Street. Remember also to visit Stearns Wharf for some great ocean views! A more affordable alternative to a Santa Barbara- or Malibu wine tour can be a visit to the pier’s Deep Sea Tasting Room for some great wine tastings. You may not believe it, but a popular destination to use little or no money is Beverly Hills! Most people using our limousines head here for celebrity sight seeing or window shopping at the famous Rodeo Drive. Wanna head to the studios and be part of a live TV-show? Tickets to numerous television shows are free, including audience tickets for shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Dr. Phil, the Ellen Show, Jeopardy, and many more. Want to learn more about the city? Head to its oldest street, Downtown’s Olvera Street, or the El Pueblo Historical Monument. More interested in the Native-American history? Check out the Chumash Painted Cave State Historic Park with a thousand year old petroglyphs from the native Californians. Need a stop on your way to Las Vegas? See similar native rock art at the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area just a 30 minute drive into Nevada.

Santa-Monica-LA-limo-companyPeople often rent chauffeured LA party bus vehicles or limos to head to the many great nature areas found in Southern California. Besides the beaches, there are great nature with beautiful lakes and rivers, forests and deserts. Want to see native Californian landscape and possibly wildlife? Head to America’s largest urban national park in the Santa Monica Mountains for great hiking, jogging, camping, or picnicking. Additionally, Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area in Westside and the animal sanctuary at El Dorado Regional Park are two great areas to spend the day outdoors. Alternatively, check out the sculptures at Tongva Park or Downtown’s Grand Park. For best lake, head to the Echo Park Lake. For best beach view hikes, head to the Palisades Park in Santa Monica. Art lovers will absolutely love Exposition Park, home to various museums and art displays. Prefer heading to a show? There are tons of freebies among the many standup comedy bars and improvs. For instance, the Upright Citizens Brigade, Westside Comedy and also the Clubhouse are completely free to attend! Although tickets are free to shows at the Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard, they do require that audience members buy a minimum of one drink each.

Los-Angeles-limousineMany customers using a Los Angeles limo or party bus attend many of the complimentary concerts held throughout the Greater L.A. Area. Make sure to check itineraries for scheduled upcoming free concerts. You’ll be surprised to see just how many musical performances are completely complimentary to attend. Business in LA? What You Need To Know

Business in LA? What You Need To Know
Hollywood-party-bus-offers-2016As a businessman who travels, one of the great challenges that you face is keeping things at the office running smoothly while you are away. Even when you actually manage to take off some leisure time with the family, there is always worrying about the office. If one just knows these simple steps to take, one can easily manage the office while being on the go.

Stay Connected!

Because you are vital to your business, you must be connected and productive while on the go. Whether in an LA limowaiting at an airport, on a Malibu wine tour, or in your motel room, an ongoing connection and productivity is vital. To keep connected you must have the proper tools.

How about a Malibu wine tour for some great wines & scenery?

Most important, you must have a light and compact laptop computer, one that is super easy to take along with you while on the go, but also has enough memory and drive for the programs that keep you connected. Cloud storage can be an amazing tool. It allows the traveler to upload or download files,  images, and videos, which can then be shared with the staff back at the office.

Delegat
e Authority!

When on you are on the go, you must delegate a trusted staff member to oversee and manage the daily business operations. Most of us have a go-to person or assistant that can take on this role. This person can manage the employees, but within threalm of direction that you provide. This alone can eliminate a large amount of worry and stress.

Still Being the Boss

We offer airport transportation to all Southern California airports

Even on the way to the airport, in an LA limo, several miles away from the office and staff, you are still in charge. Although you have delegated authority you must make sure that you never loose to much oversight and control. You still need to be in-the-know of the daily operations, keep up with current projects, and be advised of ongoing sales numbers, along with being updated with any issues, problems, or concerns that may arise while you are traveling.

While traveling, and keeping up with your activities, it is very important to make yourself available and check in with the office as often as you can without interrupting your daily plans.   At a minimum, one should have contact with the office twice daily while on the go.  Communication allows everyone to get the job done while gently reminding people in the office that you are still in the boss.
